Sam Sandtour
Just finished putting together the initial elements of a demonstration blog as part of the preparation for the Horizons Unlimited event later this month.
Called Defying the Dark Rift to Doyle’s Delight, it features a fictional motorcycle traveller called Sam Sandtour and her Inca and Maya-inspired adventures in Central and South America.
The demo will help to illustrate the process of customising a WordPress.com blog, adding new posts and pages, and uploading photos.
The 10th anniversary Horizons Unlimited gathering is only a month away and it promises to be the best one yet.
The event is taking place at Lumb Farm, outside Ripley in Derbyshire, from Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th June 2010.
I’ll be there helping to keep all the presentations running smoothly on the technical front, snapping photos for the 3rd year in a row, as well as presenting “Demystifying the Dark Arts of Travel Blogs and Websites” for those that want to find out about setting up a blog for their journey.
